Spontaneous reporting of adverse drug reactions: nurses’ perception

Introduction: Spontaneous reporting of adverse drug reactions is the basis pharmacovigilance, main objective which to ensure safe use drugs, particularly cytotoxics, through continuous monitoring events caused by them. The aims this study were investigate perception nurses towards and identify reasons for under-reporting cytotoxic drugs in Morocco. Methods: Individual semi-structured interviews conducted with 10 charge administering cytotoxics Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Department Children’s Hospital Rabat 2019. recorded, then transcribed analyzed. Results: From study, positive attitudes shown. Nevertheless, an insufficient level knowledge pharmacovigilance participants was showed. Lack training cause lack knowledge. Conclusion: This showed a ADR despite integration modules curriculum will help improve reporting.
